I finished the Moodle Admin Basics class on February 27, 2024, and got my certificate of completion. This will complement the Moodle Teaching Basics Certificate that I received on January 2, 2024. Moodle Academy also offers a Developer learning pathway in addition to the Teaching and Admin pathways. For now, I am going to skip the Developer pathway until I take some coding classes and learn more about Moodle from the teaching and administrative sides.

The Admin was class was good but toward the end some of the learning modules were not as in depth as previous classes and I had to look up things on the online Moodle support pages in order to answer class questions. I don’t know if they were rushed to finish the class materials, or they wanted students to start being a little more independent in their learning. I was able to complete the tasks in the modules, but it took longer looking things up.

School is going to start for me again in April so I will put off taking the Intermediate classes for now. I also want to use this break to go back over the material to improve my Moodle test site that I practice with.
